A funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at St. Anne RC Church for Frances Rossi (Gumina), a lifetime resident of Jersey City. She died Nov. 4. She was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Maria (Cappodonna) and Frank Gumina; the wife of the late Ralph Rossi; the mother of Vincent Rossi and wife Pat, Maria Desmond and husband John, Frank Rossi and wife Gisela, and Suzanne Rossi, and the late James Rossi.; the sister of Anne Profita; and the grandmother of Craig, Chris, Erika, and Frank Rossi, Bernadette Puccio, and Jennifer and Anthony Desmond.
