JERSEY CITY – Veterans Day ceremonies are scheduled for 12 noon at the historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery & Memorial Park, 435 Newark Ave. Jersey City.
Special guests for the 3rd annual “Honoring Our Heroes” Veteran’s Day Celebration include Mayor Jerramiah Healy, Hudson County Executive Thomas DeGise, the AmVets, the Lincoln Association, the George Washington Society, JC Landmarks Conservancy, the JCPD Marine Corp Assoc., with special music performances by Chimene Petit, Paula Brown, & Friends.
Refreshments will be served, and admission is free. All visitors are welcomed to participate by placing a flag on a soldier’s grave.
