WEEHAWKEN AND BEYOND – According to the Port Authority website, due to scheduled routine maintenance and helix paving, there will be some changes in traffic patterns at the Lincoln Tunnel this weekend.
· On Sunday, Nov. 7 and Monday, Nov. 8 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning, the New Jersey–bound north tube will be closed to traffic due to routine maintenance. Customers are advised to access the Lincoln Tunnel via the center tube using entrances at 36th Street and 9th Avenue, or 30th, 31st or 33rd Streets between 9th and 10th Avenues.
· On Sunday, Nov. 7 from 1 a.m. until 10 a.m., the westbound Lincoln Tunnel helix will be closed to traffic while paving is done. Motorists will need follow detours for access to New Jersey highways.
