‘It’s time to clean house’ and vote Wintner for Ward B

Dear Editor:
My current Talking Politics TV show features three of the six candidates running for Ward B, West Side. The open Council seat is the result of the guilty plea last year by former Councilman Phil Kenny. This election is very important, as the city is in very difficult times, what with so many elected officials pleading guilty to corruption and our non-stop tax increases and rising crime.
The voters of Ward B must send a message to Mayor Healy and his cronies at City Hall that enough is enough by voting for Esther Wintner, 10E. Esther Wintner attends City Council meetings and speaks her mind. Neither she nor her family is employed by the city or county, so they are not beholden to the politicians for their income. We are desperate for independent council members, unlike the current councilman who was appointed by the Mayor and worked for the city. During the show, it was apparent that Esther was the most knowledgeable of the three. The issues are complicated, and bad decisions translate into ever higher taxes for us.
If you’re sick of the rising taxes, rising crime, dirty streets, elect Esther Wintner, 10E. The show is streaming off the TalkingPolitics.net website. Remember, since Mayor Healy came into office, our city taxes have gone up 85 percent. It’s time to clean house ward by ward. Let’s start with Ward B.
