A funeral mass was celebrated Oct. 18 at St. Nicholas Church for Gelsumina “Jo” Rapposelli (Tomassi), 84, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She was very active in the Paterson Street Senior Center and was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Church. She was the wife of the late Ottavio Rapposelli; the mother of Susan and husband James Nanfeldt and Rita Rapposelli; the grandmother of Meghan, Ross, and Cliff Nanfeldt; the sister of Rocco and the late Bernard Tomassi; and the sister-in-law of Antoinette and Anna Tomassi.
