To the Editor:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank three very special organizations who made a wonderful donation to the Food Pantry at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. First, our thanks to Bayonne Medical Center, who sent us cases of assorted food and items to help our pantry and Soup Kitchen. Second, to the Bayonne Quilting Club. These wonderful, talented ladies donated their talents, time, and effort to collect food items for us. Third, but certainly not least, to the Bayonne Chapter of UNICO, especially Mike Masone, for cooking and donating one of the meals served at the Cluster Soup Kitchen in September.
All three of these organizations made a concentrated effort to help the poor and needy in Bayonne, donating not only food items, but their time, talents, and hard work! We extend to you our sincere and heartfelt thanks! May God bless each and every one of you!
