The Bayonne High School Band Booster Association would like to take this opportunity to thank the Bayonne Masonic Peninsula Lodge No. 99 for generously donating their hall for our annual end of the year student band party in May. It was an exciting event enjoyed by all, which was made possible through the use of their banquet hall.
Our students work very hard throughout the school year, and we are grateful to see the community supporting their efforts.
In addition, the BHS Band performed their annual SLAM concert on May 21 and it was a huge success. Thank you to the Bayonne community for coming out and showing your support. This year, we decided to try something new and raffled off gift certificates, which were kindly donated by local eateries. Special thanks to Buon Appetito, Ten East, La Guardiola, Mama Rosa, Vincent’s, Little Food Café, Sarellis and Antonio’s for their donations.
Support from our parents and the community is very important to the success of our students. The Bayonne High School Band Booster Association is a parent organization created to help meet the needs of the band so that go beyond the scope of the regular high school day. We support the students at football games, marching band competitions and other events. The Boosters also fundraise for equipment and performance trips. The organization is open to everyone in the community with an interest in supporting the Bayonne High School Band.
