To the Editor:
This thank you is way long past due. Today, I am 71 years old. Thanks in part to Mickey McCabe, who saved my life 25 years ago. I was walking to work on 30th Street and the Boulevard. I started to choke. He passed by with his ambulance, saw me choking and stopped, jumped out and did the maneuver. I was able to cough out the cough drop I was choking on, and then he drove me to work for Domenico Tours.
Way to go, Mickey. Sorry it took so long.
