HOBOKEN – With the 4th Ward special election less than one month away, both candidates have officially opened their campaign headquarters.
Over the weekend, Councilman Michael Lenz opened his campaign headquarters at 60 Madison St. According to a report on Hoboken Patch, Lenz received the support of Mayor Dawn Zimmer, Councilman-at-large Dave Mello, Councilman Ravi Bhalla, and Councilman Peter Cunningham at the event.
If Lenz wins the special election on Nov. 2 against challenger Tim Occhipinti, Zimmer will continue to have the support of the council by a 5-4 majority. Occhipinti’s headquarters, which opened on Sept. 25, is located at 56 Monroe St.
