HOBOKEN — Over the weekend N.Y. Daily News reporter Mike Jaccarino decided to test the security at the Trailways terminal from which Darius McCollum stole a bus last week and took a joyride through Manhattan to Kennedy Airport — and found it ridiculously easy.
There were no guards visible. The busses stood shining in the sun, their doors wide open, and the keys in the ignition.
“Only good sense – not guards – kept me from driving off,” Jaccarino wrote.
