A funeral was conducted Aug. 23 at Leber Funeral Home, Union City, for Henry A. Koster, 82, of Weehawken. He passed away Aug.16. He was a captain of the Weehawken Fire Department for over 30 years before retiring, and a veteran of the Navy during World War II. Henry was also a member of the VFW Oulton Kraft Post 1923 of Weehawken and the Exempt Fireman’s Association. He was the husband of Armen Koster (Bendian); the father of Nancy Kenny, Theresa Verdon, and Henry Koster; the grandfather of eight; and the great-grandfather of one. Services were arranged by Leber Funeral Home.
