Funeral services were held Aug. 24 at Our Lady of Libera R.C. Church, West New York, for Donald J. Barton, 77, formerly of West New York. He passed away Aug.20 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Jersey City. He served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict, and was a crossing guard for the town of North Bergen. He was the dear friend of Dolores Sexton; the uncle of Michael, Thomas and Steven Loughran, Albert, Dennis and Robert Bartonand, Kay Doughty, Carol Doughty-Barnes, and Marian Gardner. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Services arranged by Vainieri Funeral Home of North Bergen.
