Dear Editor:
I wanted to share my enthusiasm over Adrianna Coppola taking on the role of Director of Hoboken’s Early Childhood program (as well as principal of the Brandt School). In doing so, Adrianna will get to continue the great work Jessica Peters accomplished in the district over the past few years in improving the performance and reputation of Hoboken’s pre-K programs. While I very much appreciated working with Jessica over the past three years as both a district parent and a member of the Hoboken Early Childhood Advisory Council, I look forward to working with Adrianna, who was our daughter’s kindergarten teacher this past year, in her new capacity. While I know many parents will miss Jessica Peters, as well as Edith Vega, who just retired as the Brandt School principal, I also know many parents are excited about the opportunity to work with Adrianna in partnering with her to keep our pre-K program flourishing across Hoboken.
