GUTTENBERG – A Guttenberg soldier was driving his motorcycle Saturday morning at Fort Bragg when it was struck by a vehicle, according to various sources. Private First Class Felipe Ramirez, 27, died in Fort Bragg, N.C. as a result of the accident.
The person who allegedly crashed into him, an Army specialist, is being charged with second degree murder. According to the Associated Press, police are alleging that the specialist was under the influence of alcohol.
Visitation for Ramirez will be held Sunday and Monday at the Vainieri Funeral Home in North Bergen and his mass and burial will be held on Monday. – Tricia Tirella
