HUDSON COUNTY – According to the New Jersey Lottery, a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $299,714 was sold at Quick Chek No. 94, located at 5100-5108 Kennedy Boulevard in West New York for the Friday, Aug. 13 drawing.
Acting Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Friday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 13, 14, 22, 23 and 33.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Quick Chek #94,” said Hedinger in a released statement. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location’ for a very fortunate winner.”
According to a report on Tuesday by NJ.com, an employee at the store said he verified the ticket for a “middle-aged North Bergen man” on Saturday.
