Mr. Sandman brought us a dream

Dear Editor:
I would like to personally thank Mr. Scott Sandman Deputy Director of the Parks Department of Union City for his tireless work and respect that he had shown to the Union City Employees Association employees in his time with the City of Union City, as he should be commended for his civil duty to the people of Union City as well. The parks in Union City are a showcase to other Cities and are maintained to the highest standards that anyone could want especially in the most densely populated City in the country. Not only did he maintain and service the parks but he also save the City thousands and thousands of tax payers’ dollars for his interaction with the Union Officers as we settled different problems without going through high legal fees and always came to a far and reasonable resolution. Also all of the overtime hours that Mr. Sandman put into Union City and never was compensated and did not even get a raise in the years that he was here cleaning up the parks in Union City. When Mr. Sandman left Union City the City lost a great supervisor and worker and any City in Hudson county or the state would be better off if they hired him and let him run a cities department then they can have the same show case as Union City has today thanks to him. Now a days if can call a person a good guy then I think you have done the right things in life and treated all people with respect and dignity and Scott is a good guy. I wish Scott the best that life has to offer and hope to see him on top of a city once more.
