A funeral mass was offered Aug. 7 at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in North Bergen for Gennarina Donnabella, 81. After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Aug. 4. Rina immigrated to the United States with her family in 1963 and worked as a seamstress for Evan Picone until her retirement, which was spent with her children and grandchildren. She had been a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, North Bergen. Rina was the mother of Maria and her husband Tony Schiavello and Dr. Vincent and wife Cathy Donnabella. She was the Nonna to Christina, Stefanie, Anthony Schiavello and Jane Donnabella, and sister to Alice Picone, Elena Frasca, Jerry and Rose Ranaudo, Tony and Antonia Ranaudo and Emil and Barbara Ranaudo. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, both here and in Italy. Rina was predeceased by her husband Tullio Donnabella; her parents, Virgilio and Angelina Ranaudo; her brother Richard Ranaudo, and nephew Richard Jr. Services arranged by the A.K.
