NORTH BERGEN — As noted in last week’s cover story, North Bergen introduced its $79.2 million budget last week, with a potential tax rise of 3.9 percent.
The final budget will be passed in September, but residents can comment or give suggestions before then.
A few of the meeting dates have been changed from the original story:
Tax bills for this quarter have been sent out on Aug. 9 and are due by Sept. 7, as opposed to the Sept. 10 date in the story.
Also, the budget will be up for a public hearing at their Sept. 8 meeting, not the upcoming Aug. 25 meeting.
These corrections have already been made on the online version of the story. – Tricia Tirella
