A celebration of the life of Robert “Bobbo” Sass Stembridge was held July 29 at the New Bethel Baptist Church, Jersey City. He passed away July 22. He was the son of Mary Stembridge; brother of Terriel Stembridge, Kismet Peterkin, Ebony Sass, Tsharrah Watkins; adopted father of Arjarla Ortiz; maternal grandson of Carrie Stembridge and the late L. Eugene Stembridge; paternal grandson of the late Richard and Mary Sass; nephew of Eric and Justine Morrison, Lillian, and Denise Stembridge, Patricia Soloman, Adrianne and Francis Ikejiora, Lisa and Carlvell Ladson, Cynthia Stembridge, Beth Williams, Gary Williams, Mark Stembridge, Edward Lawson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
