A celebration of the life of Peggie Ann Evans of Jersey City was held July 21 at the Grace Apostolic Church, Jersey City. She passed away on July 12 in the comfort of her home. She was the wife of the late Otis Evans Sr.; mother of Otis Evans Jr. (Capri Canty) and Derah Evans; grandmother of Jayda Holland, and Gerren Garcia; daughter of the late James Swinton Sr. and Louella Morris Swinton; sister of Rhoda Mae Nesmith, Gail Swinton, Ruthy Nkwodimmah, Jacqueline Swinton, and the late James Swinton Jr. and a whole host of other relatives and friends.
