HOBOKEN — Who says local businesses don’t benefit from the Cake Boss’s success? Mr. L’s Hair Creations, a barber shop at Sixth Street and Park Avenue in Hoboken, will be featured on this Monday’s episode of the popular TLC reality show, which chronicles the work of Buddy Valastro and his staff at Carlo’s Bakery in downtown Hoboken.
A few episodes back, Carlo’s made a 100th anniversary cake for Fiore’s Deli on Adams Street in Hoboken. The cake, in the shape of a long sandwich, was featured on an episode, raising Fiore’s profile.
Now Mr. L’s is ready for its closeup.
The new episode, called “Barbers & Bulls,” airs Monday at 9 p.m. following repeats of earlier shows, and then airs again at midnight, so you can have your cake twice.
