A&P to donate check to Joe Pantoliano in Hoboken for organization

HOBOKEN — The A&P family of supermarkets, together with Pepsi, are presenting a check for $60,000 to Hoboken-native Joe Pantoliano and his foundation, No Kidding, Me Too! (www.nkm2.org), a celebrity advocacy and public charity whose purpose is to remove the stigma attached to mental illness and brain disease through education and the breaking down of societal barriers.
The Foundation’s goal is to empower those with brain disease to admit their illness, seek treatment, and become even greater members of society.
During May, the A&P family of supermarkets participated in a register fundraiser that raised $30,000 for Joe Pantoliano and NKM2. In addition, the A&P family of supermarkets also participated in the Pepsi Refresh Project, which also raised $30,000 for NKM2.
Pantoliano will appear at the A&P in Hoboken to accept the donation and meet & greet customers.
The event will take place this Friday, July 30 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the supermarket, 614 Clinton St., Hoboken.
