A funeral service was held July 15 for William Howard Booker. He passed away quietly at home on July 11. He was born and raised in Jersey City. William joined the U.S. Coast Guard at an early age. Mr. Booker worked for the United States Postal Service for many years and retired in 1982. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife Bernice; two daughters, Diane Thomas and Joyce Booker Sanders; a son-in-law, Edward Thomas; a sister-in-law, Bertha Gibson; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a nephew, Christopher, and a host of relatives and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice, and Victoria McColligan. They would also like to express appreciation to caregivers Lourdes Padin, Thomasina Graham and all those who provided companionship, encouragement, comfort and support. Services arranged by the W.R.
