Funeral services were held July 19 for Charles W. Haas, 92, of West Milford, formerly of North Bergen. He died July 14. Mr. Haas was born in Monticello, N.Y., the son of the late Charles W. and the late Ethel Haas. He served in the Air Force from 1943 to 1945 during World War II. He was the owner of Greenhouse and Florist in North Bergen. Mr. Haas was past Worshipful Masterful Mason and member of the Free and Accepted Masons Blue Stone Majestic Tie Malta Doric Lodge No. 35, The Scottish Rite, Eastern Star Amore Chapter 176, in Bogota, N.J., the Reformed Church in Kinnelon, N.J., the Grove Reformed Church, North Bergen, and the United Methodist Church of Monticello, N.Y. He is survived by his sons, Charles W. Haas and wife Virginia and David W. Haas and wife Marilyn; two sisters, Virginia Tursi and husband Joseph and Jane Wakin; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
