JERSEY CITY – A 7-year-old Jersey City boy was returned to his mom after allegedly being left alone by daycare workers in downtown park on Thursday, according to a NJ.com report.
The boy was allegedly left in Mary Benson Park located right off of Newark Avenue around noon.
The boy was apparently found inside a slide by a woman in the park, where he had fallen asleep. The woman brought him to a nearby school, where a teacher apparently helped the boy reunite with his mom.
According to the news report, the boy has been moved to another daycare center and the mom has threatened to sue the one allegedly responsible for her son being left behind in the park. – RK
