HOBOKEN — TV Guide reports that the “Cake Boss” reality show, filmed in Hoboken, is so successful that it’s going to have a spinoff!
They note:
TLC is on the hunt for the next Cake Boss with a new competition series to be hosted by the chef himself, Buddy Valastro. The untitled spinoff will pit 10 rising cake makers against each other to find out who has the right ingredients to follow in Valastro’s footsteps. The winner of the eight-episode show will walk away with an apprenticeship atCake Boss’ Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, N.J.
The show is slated to air in December.
