Funeral mass took place June 15 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken, for Nicholas Lilli Jr., 85, formerly of West New York. He passed away June 11. Born in West New York, he lived most of his life in Hudson County. A veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, he returned home and went to work later for Evan Picone in North Bergen, retiring in 1987 after 25 years there. He remained a member of the ILGWU and AFL-CIO, Local 148. He is survived by his wife, Nicolina (Brono) and his son Nicholas and wife, Caren. Nicholas was predeceased by his brother and sisters, Carmela Iafelice, Anthony, Vincent, Mary Inglese and Dominick. He was the grandfather of Nicholas, Alyson, Caitlin, Joseph and Patrick. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
