A funeral mass took place June 15 at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, for Edward J. Fleckenstein. He passed away June 9. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Margeurite. He is survived by his brother, A. George Fleckenstein and a cousin, Edmund Fleckenstein. He was an attorney, historian and philanthropist, who graduated from St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, went on to Fordham University and then Fordham Law School for his law degree. Edward served as past president of the Weehawken Historical Society and as a member of the Board of Trustees, Palisades Medical Center. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
