A funeral mass was offered May 14 at St. Francis R.C. Church in Hoboken for Giuseppe Sancilio. He passed away May 10. Giuseppe was born in Molfetta, Italy in 1917 and migrated to Hoboken in 1955. He was a member of the New Jersey Building Laborers Local 325. Giuseppe was a distinctive stone cutter for many years. He served during World War II in the Italian Navy. He was the husband of Isabella Sancilio; father to Michael and his wife Karen Sancilio and Cosmo; brother of the late Lorenzo, Domenico, Cosmo, Mauro, Elisa, Maria, and Elizabeta, all of Italy; special grandfather of Kelly Corcoran, and great-grandfather of Joseph and Kayla Corcoran.
