New Hudson County political group meeting in Hoboken

HUDSON COUNTY — Tired with both major political parties? One man is hosting the first meeting this Saturday of something different…Whether you think it’s different good or different bad may depend where on the conservative-to-liberal spectrum you swing. Here it is:
He writes: “I hope that you can take the time to come out to the Inaugural Hudson County meeting this Saturday, May 22nd at 1PM in Hoboken. 2nd floor lounge, The Club. 800 Madison Condominiums, 800 Madison Ave, Hoboken.”
The background:

While in California I was the assistant coordinator for the Central Valley Citizens for Liberty (a Meetup group that spun off after the Ron Paul Presidential campaign ended). There we successfully assisted other local grassroots groups in organizing the first Tax Day Tea Party in Modesto, CA on April 15th, 2009. We grew our membership from 60 members to 120 members in one year. I’m very anxious to get started here in Hudson County. The New Jersey C4L is much more organized than we were in California which fills my spirit with great hope.
I’d like to organize regular monthly meetings for us in which the agenda would be on the order of:
1. Recruiting new members
2. Organizing education events (i.e. setup booths to hand out copies of the Constitution in high foot traffic areas)
3. Working together to learn our Precincts.
4. Organizing and participating in Political Campaign training.
This year we’ll make a special push to reenact the infamous transit by the creators of the Federal Reserve Bank to Jekyll Island that occurred 100 years ago this November.
Please bring a friend and come prepared to get active; we’ll be signing petitions and handing out flyers on the streets of Hoboken after the meeting.
Respectfully, Clint Chedester

Official mission statement: “The mission of the Campaign for Liberty is to promote and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy, by means of educational and political activity.”
A final note from Clint: “PS: BRING A FRIEND TO THE INAUGURAL HUDSON COUNTY MEETING MAY 22ND AT 1PM IN HOBOKEN. YOU’LL SEE ME OUTSIDE THE CONDO COMPLEX IN C4L GEAR. LET’S GET STARTED!”
