A funeral service took place May 8 for Joseph V. Mattessino. He passed away peacefully May 1 in Florida. He was born and raised in Yonkers, N.Y., and moved to New Jersey before settling in Florida. He was predeceased by his mother, Julia Mattessino. Surviving are his wife Marisa; a son, Vincent Mattessino; a granddaughter Dominique and family, Jen and Aaron; a daughter, Christina Mattessino; his father, Dominick Mattessino; his siblings Virginia Welsh and family, Vincent Mattessino and family, Lori, Jillian, Daniel and William; Angelina Duschaneck; an uncle Ralph Matessino of Yonkers, N.Y.; his in-laws Liz, Sherry and family Ron, Zach, David, Ella, Zeb, Jess, Brooklyn and Kiah; Jackie and family Larry, Christy, Kelsey and Larry, Kenny and family Laurie, Maya and Brenden and his father-in-law, Kenneth Lee.
