A funeral was held May 12 for John A. Henwood, 91. He passed away May 8. John was born in New York and lived in North Bergen since 1978, was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was retired as a longshoreman from ILA Local 824, New York. He was the husband of the late Helen; father of William Galvin (Catherine), Donald Galvin, Terence Galvin (Carol), and the late Patricia Reid; father-in-law of John Reid; brother of Katherine Sheehan, Eleanor Weiner, Dorothy Baruch, Robert Henwood and the late Larry Henwood; grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of six, and great great-grandfather of two. Services arranged at the Konopka Funeral Home, North Bergen.
