A funeral mass was held May 4 at St. Joseph/St. Michael R.C. Church for Josephine Persoon, 81, of Union City. She passed away April 30. She was born in Hoboken N.J. and was a lifelong resident of Union City. She was a factory laborer and worked for Maxwell House Coffee Corp., before she retired. She was the mother of Joann and mother-in-law of Paul Sokol, and a grand-mother of Marissa and David. She is also survived by one nephew and three nieces. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
