ERHARDT, LOUIS A

A mass of Christian burial was offered May 4 at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River, for Louis A. Erhardt, 95, of the Holiday City section of Berkeley Township. He died April 30 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, N.J. Born and raised in Hoboken, N.J., he moved to Holiday City in 1983. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He graduated from St. Peters Prep High School and went on to graduate from St. Peter’s College. He worked for securities for Morgan Guarantee Trust Company in New York City, N.Y. for over 35 years. Louis was a former active member of St. Peter and Paul’s R.C. Church in Hoboken, where he was a trustee, a member of their Holy Name Society and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. Surviving are his wife Margaret “Marge”; three sons, Louis R. Jr. of Lewisburg, Pa., John of South Plainfield, N.J. and Paul of Oceanport, N.J.; one daughter, Rita Poduska of Teaneck, N.J.; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services arranged by the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, Toms River.
