Hats off, Francis!

Dear Editor:
On June 8, there will be a primary election held for Hudson County Sheriff. What I would like to see, in a County Sheriff, is a gentleman who’s going to respectfully take his cap off before entering a building rather than tightening up a cowboy hat. I want someone who is humble, not arrogant. This person will not be beckoning for the newspaper and camera but rolling up his sleeves alongside patrolmen and women. My choice for Hudson County Sheriff will be a Democrat because our county is made up of mostly Democrats and Independents. The makeup of Hudson’s taxpayers not only counts but it’s important when it comes to the Chief Law Enforcement Officer who represents us.
I want to see the person elected to Hudson County Sheriff be a man who my Senator Nicholas Sacco supports because when it comes to a Senator, Mayor and overall leader, Nick Sacco runs a tight ship. There is no room for error. You do it right or you don’t do it at all. Senator Sacco, if you can use a loyal political soldier in Jersey City, have one of the Grossi brothers ring my bell on Nelson Avenue. From what I understand, Loyalty actually means something to you. For Sheriff of Hudson County, I’d like to see a real person, not a phonie. This county is running rabid with phonies, unjustifiably in top positions. When I vote on June 8 for Hudson County Sheriff, I’ll be voting for Francis Schillari. He’s good for the Sheriff’s Office and he’s the only choice for Sheriff. Hats off Francis.
