Funeral services have been held for Henry (Harry) Ackennan, 89. He died April 6. He was born in Jersey City and lived in Hoboken and North Bergen before retiring from Globe Shoes and moving to Florida. He is survived by his wife of more than 67 years, Sylvia Maurer Ackennan, and his three daughters, Dianne, Janet (Phillip Siegel), and Linda (Steven Bleiweiss). He also leaves his grandchildren, Robin and August Vettorino, Scott and Rowena Askins, Jenna and Scott Greene, Erin and Lauren Bleiweiss and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Alexa Greene, Mariel Askins and AJ Vettorino.
