Funeral services were held April 1 for Loretta Carlock, 94. She was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident. She was a retired secretary and machinist for Western Electric Company in Kearny, working for 10 years and retired for 62 years. At Western Electric she received an award for machine parts design and was also a union organizer. In later life, she and her husband were fond of travel. Loretta was predeceased by her husband George, and is survived by a son, Karl Phillip; two daughters, Christine Olasin, and Marilyn Carlock, and a son Jim. She is also survived her sister Wanda Kartanowicz; one granddaughter, Georgina Olasin, and nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Fallon Funeral Home, Jersey City.
