A celebration of the life of JoAnn E. Braswell took place April 2 at the Zion Baptist Church, Jersey City. She was the daughter of Leroy and the late Betsy Braswell; stepdaughter of Vivian Braswell; sister of Dr. Robert, Lawrence, and the late Dennis Braswell; sister-in-law of Gwendolyn, and Yolanda Braswell; aunt of Denise, Paris, and Caleb Braswell; cousin of Paula Jones; best friend of Katherine Sebron Washington, and is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
