Funeral services took place April 3 for Artis (Butch) Augustus. He passed away March 28. He was born in South Carolina. He is survived by his son Omar D. Augustus, and stepdaughter Charlisse Jones. He was the brother of Connie Reid Augustus, Gelanie Reid and Janice Hunter. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley Augustus and Clara M. Stokes. He is also survived by four aunts and four uncles and a host of relatives. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
