DELOUGHERY, JOHN A

Funeral mass was offered March 22 at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City, for John A. Deloughery, 53. He passed away at his Jersey City residence on March 18. He was a life-long resident of Jersey City. John worked for many years as a warehouseman for Mid-Hudson Warehouse and later in the hospitality division of Aramark Service. He was a member of the Jersey City Moose Club and a longtime communicant of St. Aloysius Church. Surviving are his mother, Catherine “Kay” Deloughery; his brothers, Thomas Deloughery and his wife Geri, James Deloughery and his wife Kathy, Michael and Timothy Deloughery; his nieces, Major Cheryl Deloughery, USAF, and her husband, Major Andrew Lauer, USAF, and Kathleen Deloughery, Phd.; and nephews, James and Peter Deloughery and Michael DiCiancia. He is also survived by many cousins and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his father, William “Red” Deloughery, Sr., and brother, William “Larry” Deloughery. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
