HOBOKEN — HOBOKEN — The Reporter was tipped off today that something very controversial would happen at tonight’s Hoboken University Medical Center municipal hospital authority meeting (see breaking news items below on www.hudsonreporter.com). So far, as of two hours into the meeting, the hospital has discussed hiring special lawyers to explore “opportunities.” But for what?
Town officials denied that there will be an immediate sale of the hospital, but a source said that the talk may have to do with that issue.
