A funeral mass was offered March 8 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Mary A. Raso, 67. She died March 3 in Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrium, Jersey City. Born in Hoboken, the daughter of the late Ellan and Bernard Kennedy, she moved to Jersey City in 1972. She was a teacher’s aide for the Jersey City Board of Education the last 15 years at P.S. 8. She was the longtime companion of Frank Frega; the mother of Frank Raso, Donna O’Reilly, Cyndi and Debra Raso and Diane Raso-Pellegrino; the sister of Catherine Salzano, and grandmother of Frank M. and Andrew M. Raso, Randyn Guzman, Angelo Longo, Angelina and Michael Pellegrino and Landis Leonardo Raso. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
