Dear Editor:
I would just like to express my thanks to Peter and Wise Optical on 27th Street and Broadway in Bayonne. As most people, I have to go to the doctors as dictated by my insurance carrier, which sent myself and my 13 year old daughter to an eye doctor in Union, NJ a few weeks ago. My daughter wanted and got contacts from a Union, NJ eye doctor who helped her put them in, without allowing her to do it herself and rushed us out. Well we spent the rest of the weekend trying unsuccessfully to remove them. After a very long weekend in which my daughter had to leave these contacts in her eyes, on Monday morning before school we walked into another optician’s office in Bayonne where the girl at the front desk had no sympathy for our situation and was actually a little rude. We then walked into Wise Optical and were lucky enough to meet Peter who not only helped my daughter remove her new contacts, but sat her down and would not let us leave until she had put them in and taken them out a few times and was comfortable doing so. And he charged me absolutely nothing for his help and time. I would just like the people of Bayonne to know that a great place like this exists in Bayonne with a great staff. Thank you Wise Optical!
