Thousands of Hoboken residents and out-of-towners alike were on hand on Saturday to celebrate everything Irish. While this week’s Hoboken Reporter will have some photos of the parade, the Midweek brings you some extras of the revelers.
Most repeat parade-goers agreed that organizers kept rowdy crowds under wraps this year. But that didn’t stop patrons from celebrating the Irish spirit with plenty of Irish spirits.
Brian, of Montclair, took the PATH train into town, and was looking forward to spending the rest of the night with friends. “The parade has an old-time feel with a new-school crowd,” he said. “Everybody is enjoying themselves and waiting to really celebrate the Irish way.”
