BAYONNE — Bayonne City Hall announced Tuesday that its Department of Public Works had the following resources to deal with the expected snow and ice on city streets: 50 employees; 900 tons of salt; and 16 vehicles for plowing and salting. The salt supply is divided between 500 tons ready for the vehicle fleet, and another 400 tons stored in reserve.
The City of Bayonne will post various announcements about the storm, as needed, on BAY-TV Channel 78 on the Cablevision system, and on the municipal website, which is www.bayonnenj.org.
