Funeral services took place Jan. 31 for Ernest Manzi, 81. He passed away Jan. 28. He was born in Hoboken and lived most of his life in Weehawken. He was an aeronautical engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration in Teteboro for over 35 years, retiring 10 years ago. Ernest was also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, as well as an Alumni of University of Alabama. He was the husband of Louise Manzi and the father of: Anthony Manzi, Maria Maisto, Laura Di Renzi and Sheila Casey. He was the grandfather of: Veronica, Tristen and Nathaniel Manzi, Ernie, Nicola, Tony and John Maisto, Deanna Di Renzi and Jimmy Mack and Ryan Casey.
