He was born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, moved to Connecticut in 1955 and in 1976 to Hoboken. He worked in the sanitation department for the city of Hoboken. He was the father of Janette, Millie, Rufo, Tony,Clara, Edwin, Carlos and Maribel; grandfather of Orlando, Joseph, JT, Trina, Chad and many others; greatgrandfather of Mercedes; brother of Santa, Ana Maria, Gregorio and Demetrio, and many nieces and nephews.
