HUDSON COUNTY — For local Cablevision subscribers who were steamed to lose the Food Network and HGTV because of a dispute because Cablevision and Scripps Network, they can rejoice: The channels are back.
Optimum Online says on their website: “Cablevision and Scripps Networks have reached an agreement allowing for the return of Food Network and HGTV programming to Cablevision customers. The channels have been restored and can be viewed at the same channel positions as before.
We’re pleased to have reached this agreement and appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked with Scripps to reach an agreement that is fair.”
The channels are 29 and 30 in Hudson County. They have been off the air locally since New Year’s.
