North Bergen investigates supposed ‘cyber sex’ by employees

NORTH BERGEN – A story that appeared today in Cliffview Pilot stated that a female North Bergen town worker and a male official in the regional fire department have been quietly asked to resign because they allegedly sent nude photos and risque text messages to each other.
The town worker in question, when contacted by the on-line publication, said that another employee ratted her out because she had reported that employee’s improper use of sick and vacation time.
The texts and photos, if sent between consenting adults, might not be a problem unless they were done using work time or equipment.
Town spokesman Phil Swibinski told the Reporter on Thursday: “The township is investigating the matter internally, but we really can’t make any comments about it right now.” – Tricia Tirella
