HUDSON COUNTY — The stories in this weekend’s print editions of the Hudson Reporter newspapers are now up on the website, www.hudsonreporter.com.
Scroll down to news for the appropriate town (Hoboken, Jersey City, Secaucus, Weehawken, Union City, West New York, North Bergen, Guttenberg, Bayonne) and read up!
Among the news stories in the latest editions:
The A&E reality show “Parking Wars” may be going to Hoboken. City Hall is considering the offer. The show has spent three season logging angry drivers getting towed in Philadelphia.
Also in the Hoboken edition, police who came to comedian Artie Lange’s Hoboken home last weekend did not find illegal drugs in the room where they responded, but did see prescription drugs. See Hoboken Police Beat.
In Secaucus, a countywide program that provides free and low-cost health screenings may become available to anyone in Secaucus who needs it.
In North Bergen, residents of two senior buildings say they have seen the dreaded bedbugs – and it’s possible that some seniors are not reporting them because they don’t want to pay the recently increased extermination fee. Which will make the problem worse.
